Cement Re-Sealing Services

Whether you have a driveway, patio, steps, walkway, or whatever, it is your investment, and it needs to be protected. This is especially true in parts of the country where freezing and thawing occurs. These weather changes can cause cracking and expand existing cracks. Salt or other melting chemicals can damage your concrete as well. But even in warm climates your concrete can be sealed to resist oil, fertilizer and other chemical stains and abrasions. Even after a small crack occurs, concrete sealing can still make your concrete look attractive and provide the protection it needs.

Sealing concrete is much more economical than letting the forces of nature wear your concrete down or having oil, salt, fertilizer and other chemicals discolor or damage it and then having to re-pour it. Even applying multiple sealings will be much less expensive than a re-pour. An experienced concrete sealing contractor knows what kind of sealer would work for your concrete project. He can also answer your questions about when it should be applied on new concrete, how long each sealer will last, whether the former sealer needs to be removed before resealing and more.

Concrete stabilization / Mudjacking: Shifting soil will often cause concrete to raise or sink, creating slanted sidewalks and driveways. These unlevel surfaces cause tripping hazards that can be a liability. Years ago the only option was to remove and replace these areas. Today Western Maintenance & Construction can level sidewalks and drives using a method called mudjacking that involves drilling into the concrete pumping a hydraulic compound under the concrete lifting it up and then sealing the hole. The professional crews at Western M&C are experts in this process and are ready to complete your project any time.
Concrete removal and replacement:

We will, demo, remove, and disposal of existing concrete, use concrete saw cuts as necessary, use fill dirt as necessary and tamp, install wire mesh in driveways, drill and install #4 rebar two foot on center when possible, install expansion joints to alleviate heaving (to industry standards), and use 4000psi concrete.
